Treatment begins with evaluation of toenail.  This may include a sample of the nail be sent to pathology for evaluation.  If toenail is fungal, there are oral medications, topical medications, and laser therapy as treatment options.  If toenail is painful, a nail avulsion can be completed in office to provide relief.
