Ankle pain treatment begins with a thorough examination and x-rays.  Depending on results conservative treatment may include bracing, NSAIDs, injection therapy, and stretching.  If conservative treatment does not improve symptoms, we proceed to order advanced imaging.  Surgical treatment would be the next step if conservative treatment fails and depends on pathology.
