We start with conservative treatment which may include physical therapy, NSAIDs, RICE protocol, and immobilization in a CAM walker.  Orthotic usage is also helpful in treatment.  If conservative treatment fails, and MRI is often ordered to assess for any need for surgical repair and/or PRP or amniotic injections.
